Here's a knock off of the Sloane router attachment -- easy to make, easy to adjust

I made one; it's easy to make and it works very well. And saves a lot of $ compared to the over-priced thing sold commercially.

Yeah... good device. I made something similar out of 1/4" and 1/8" plexiglass.

Ken,
I assume that if I use your binding router attachment on my Bosch laminate trimmer, I should be able to make use of this attachment. And if so, is the vertical adjustment done with the trimmer or another piece attached to the jig?

Yes the depth is a function of the trimmer base -- I have only used this in our shop with a Dremel with the router base. I do know that some guys made one for their Colts and Harbor Freights --- hopefully they will chime in.

Ken, I gave my Air Turbine another adjustable base. I used the print you posted, so I wanted to thank you and send a couple pictures along. I had a few orphan pieces of solid surface countertop hanging around and it is pretty easy to work with. The pin used for the pivot is an old screwdriver shank. This one is extremely hard...couldn't cut it with a hacksaw. So again thanks for the post.
