Pretty cool Dave. Any reason why you didn't just build regular guitars? Are these less complex?

Actually, Tony, I think you can see that the construction methods would have to be on about the same par as a guitar shaped instrument. The planning was more difficult as I had no plans.
Depending on what love146's needs are, I knew I might be selling the instruments and donating all the money, so I wanted something that would catch the eye of potential buyers.

Dave, Laura and I still talk about how thoughtful and generous you are for donating so many hours of your valuable time to this worthy cause. The walnut is very nice stuff, but with the walnut fretboards I felt a little color was needed, so I took a couple of slices of a scrap piece of cocobolo and put some thick binding on the fb. Also found another use for that little shopmade tool.
These are ho-hum pix but I like others to post theirs, so I might as well.
Yes for those sharp-eyes ones among you, I will be using a zero fret on this one.
