My camera is old and has auto focus so it doesn’t take good close-ups. It’s hard to get shots that show good detail but the channels did turnout nice. The thing I like about the KMG router system is that it’s fool proof. When routing, if you relax your grip, (or stop applying downward pressure on the guitar body might be a better way to describe it), the guitar automatically rises away from the blade due to the foam pad on the shuttle. So if you have your settings right on the guide it is virtually impossible to screw it up.

I’m sure I’m just preaching to the choir and most of you guys already know this but for the visitor or member who might not know how great this tool works, I’m living proof that it’s idiot proof.

I’ll be gluing the binding and purfling today.

I got the binding & purfling glued on yesterday evening. The instruction say it’s best to wait 2 days before scraping the binding so you can see the squeeze out. It turned out pretty good. It will look much nicer tomorrow after the binding is scraped flush with the wood. I used a guitar stand while gluing. It was a great third hand. I turn the guitar body clock wise as I applied the Binding. I was busier than a one arm paper hanger so I didn’t get any pictures taken of the process. Looks like the body will be ready for lacquer very soon.

You guitar is looking good. You have a real body. Get some instructional information on dove tail installation. It is the hardest job I had when doing a kit.

Fitting a dove tail requires an understanding of "what will happen when you remove material and of course cause and effect" - However if one takes the time to truly understand the explaination/math and process Bill Cory lays out in his book
viewtopic.php?f=29&t=35 the job will go great and you'll wonder why there is some much aba daba on videos and in print and the subsequent frustration. Again, understand before you act and the fitting will be done in short order --- no kidding!! Bill should get a medal for his effort.
