Using Ken's bridge positioning jig, I placed the moustache bridge on the soundboard and traced around it.

After laying out pieces of overlapping tape on a piece of glass tile, I traced the bridge onto it using a fine sharpie marker, and cut it out. This was then placed on the soundboard in the previously marked position.

There's a photo of the fretting process. New to me from the first build was the bound fretboard, so in consulting with the usual group of helpful folk here I purchased a nibbler tool. I couldn't find it in hardware stores locally so I bought it from Amazon. For reference, it is the "Klein Tools 76011B Nibbler Tool". Modified by using a grinding disc on a dremel to cut a slot for the top of the fret to fit into while nibbling off the tang on the outside edges.

I find I still need to use a file to completely remove the tang after using my modified nibbler, but it is quick work.
The guitar looks great Dave. Can't wait to see it all done.

Absolutely right Tony. The file there in the lower right was needed often to get that little bit off. Although I might try the dremel grinder next time as my filing is pretty awful.
