I'm putting my fingers in my ears and going "La-La-La-La" loudly to try and ignore that gorgeous piece of work so that I don't get fixated on it; but obviously that won't work, I'm still looking at it and I sound like one of those Far East women on the t.v.

Seriously, I like that plane a lot, nice work.

Dave, I'll copy the article/plans I used and post them.
Pretty simple, but effective, and I LOVE purty wood.
Can't wait to experiment with shapes to see what is the most comfortable.

YouTube worked just fine for the chisel plane. Mercy, that's nice, and the price is right, too.

Here is the hand plane shaped a bit more. I should have photo'd the back, it is now rounded.
