It certainly looks better than the one I am making! And I loves me some walnut!
Very nice Ken. What is the price point for this kit? If you are not comfortable posting it because in 8 years someone will try to quote your post and get that price and then fight with you, I understand. But then you will have to PM me the price.

Looks great Ken. I too loves me walnut! How is Walnut for a fretboard?
My wife's uncle bought 200 board feet of Walnut boards and billets cut in the 50's a few weeks ago. He is going to let me look through it and see if there is anything there to be used in guitar making and let me buy some from him. I'm excited. He got it for $4 a BF.
Anyway, that is not the subject.
I get tired of looking at Koa ukes (no offense Tony) so it is refreshing to see the non-traditional woods being used.
I'd probably pay the 8 year old price for the kit!!!!!

Thanks guys --- not ready for release just yet, but $150 ish. There's lots of options and tool packages including a very unique assembly fixture. I have another Spruce topped prototype with full fan bracing in the works. The Maple bindings are a little tricky with all the tight curves -- Ivroid will likely will be standard trim.

Yes Walnut though a little softer than EIR makes a nice FB -- I used it all the time on Mountain Dulcimers.
