We know for a fact that many StewMac, Martin, and LMII kits have been assemble perfectly using the instruction manual provided on line by KMG -- http://www.kennethmichaelguitars.com/kitmanual.html
I am of the opinion that floundering around watching videos, picking and choosing what and what not to do from various books and well meaning but most often inaccurate advice off the internet leads to many of the early disappointments. The KMG manual has structured, logical content -- most importantly the goal of of each step in the process is clearly explained. We believe it is like a mini luthier course.
