Need help identifying this stuff

I started scraping and sanding my sides and I got these white streaks in several places. Is it a resin? Anyone seen this before in EIR. It's not sanding dust and is fairly deeply embedded.

Mineral deposits -- no big deal --wipe the area with acetone, that will produce a dye that will color that stuff and make it invisible.
