I was west of Chicago in Bloomingdale on July second, very hot, when a wild storm blew though. Very exciting. Four hours of golf in 97 degree weather is pushing it for me. I was happy when the storm stopped the game at hole 12.

Sounds like you were almost 'par'-boiled.

Those of you with 'eagle' eyes will see that I am off-'course'. A little 'birdie' just told me to stop, so I shot a 'hole in one' of his feathers.

I have more, but don't want Tony green with envy.

Careful or you will be attacked by a boggie.

94 degrees here so far today and rising they say (the They Brothers) to 104 later today. Tomorrow forcast is 108. Just normal for us in the San Joaquin Desert! We usually get up to about 110 a day or two before the summer is over.

It is a dry heat, though? My sister in law lives in Tucson, and it is hot there but, this time of year, they get those monsoon downpours almost every afternoon. I haven't been there at the right time to experience them, but she tells me they are awesome. Do you get them also?
