Dave, maybe Tim was referring to obtaining a copy of the plans you used, in order that he may make a copy of your copy machine?

BTW, not trying to speak for Tim; just adding humor by seeing how many times I can put the word "copy" in one sentence.

I think they are $12 - very good plans, spec sheet, cut sheet, the whole process is also online at you tube, and he provides many pictures - good ones - of the various steps. It's a great set of plans.

Here is a pic of the burr and the stylus that I'd ordered and just received. The stylus is guided over the piece to be copied - flat sides for flat areas, rounded tip for - rounded areas. Like that.
Some luthiers start with this large burr and work down smaller and smaller burrs to a neck that is all but finished; right now I will try copying a bridge (tomorrow) and see how close I can get it.
I'm also waiting for the rotary microplane to arrive, which I will use for major hogging.
