Okay - pretty much my worst fear - right after my fear of getting out of a cold lake skinny-dipping and being laughed at by a bunch of college cheerleaders - was that Tami, the artist, who wanted to paint something memorializing her Dad, and who bought that first Ditson-
geez I don't know if I can go on -
is painting a tasteful picture, on that beautiful spruce top, of one of the 'mean' pictures of - Johnny Cash.
Her dad's fave, I guess.
Well it's her guitar. Still, unless it is very small and tasteful, I won't be posting a pic here.
Life is tough, dudes...

Re: First Ditson
Go ahead and post a picture when it comes back. Based on that other picture she does wonderful work. In the other guitar she showed she had a great sense of design and balanced her art work well with the shape of the guitar. I would trust her.

That's a thoughtful comment, John, and I think you are right. She does have the artistic sensibility that is more than just knowing how to draw.

Yeah Dave, I'm sure she will do it right. Look on the bright side, even if it's not great, at least it's not a picture of my big head!

Re: First Ditson
Here's the pic I mistakenly posted to another thread. Tami just returned this to me for finishing.
