Hey, I'd not run across that website, it looks like a keeper. I do remember Eliza Gilkeson from the early 1980's and did not know she is not only still around but doing well also.

Pat Matheny had a 56 string guitar made, I believe, by Linda Manzer?
6 strings are plenty for me. :-)

Wow that is a challenge. I really like the two piece bridge for the harp like strings he had. It gave me some ideas as well about how to bind my harp ukelele. With all of those strings it must be fun to keep it in tune. Also it would seem that you would need to play in one or 2 keys per tuning or there would be funny notes. It really sounded nice and the rosettes were wild.
