Wow, that looks like it takes 20% of the volume out of the lower bout. That HAS to affect the sound to some extent! I dunno, guy seems like he was trying a little of everything....offset sound holes, arm rest, knee tunnels. In my opinion, the guitar looks like a design that tried to fit as many enhancements (or gimmicks, depending on your view) as could be fit. Not as seamless an integration as could be. Just my $.02

Strange indeed, quadrant neck joint which joins at the 14th and the 17th fret, strange rib rest, strange sound holes and port position, the view from the back it looks like someone has taken a bite out of it, strange arm rest that along with the rib rest, makes the guitar far thicker than it really is, horrid bridge, a cupboard door in the rear, and that knee rest beggars belief - that's what the waist on a guitar is for.

But apart from all that.......... I don't like it at all lol.

I guess it's time to release my new line of guitars exclusively for you guys!

My new model, which I have called "The Sleeper" has an integrated pillow on the upper bass bout so you can nap in between songs. It is an upgrade from my soundport which would normally be there.
For fat, like REALLY fat players,

The second new model I am releasing is called the "Coffee House Parlor". It is perfect for small intimate jams at your local coffee house or even in your home or yard. The upper bass bout features a recessed cup holder perfect for your latte' or a beer. I have coated the whole guitar with a proprietary finish (bed liner left over from the time I helped my brother paint his pick up truck bed) which is water proof, chemical proof, slip resistant and will also double as a case with the optional "neck sock (TM)" patent pending. The neck sock is a cloth cover for the neck that has also been coated with my proprietary finishing material to make it as strong as nails but still flexible.

The last and final new model I am releasing is called "The Air Guitar". Many modern luthiers have played around with the placement of the sound hole on the surface of the guitar. It has been moved to the upper bouts, completely off of the soundboard to the rim, and any combination in between. The "Air Guitar" (TM) will be the first acoustic guitar to feature only a soundpost to hold up the bridge, a trapeze tailpiece to hold the strings, and no soundboard at all! Another first from Costa Guitars!

I admire the direction you are going, Tony, but I have chosen a different path.

My new model - The 'Blingy' will feature:
-a double back - both of Brazilian Rosewood, old-growth
-a double top - both of Adirondack Spruce, with a thin screen of platinum in between
-4 soundports, each with a sliding baffle
-knee tunnel
-special kerfing that is floppy like spaghetti but is the new thing so I must have it
-Dolphin bracing, all ADI with carbon fiber, and the braces all hollowed out to look like small Golden Gate bridges
-A neck inlay of the Ascent of Man, with the ape at the soundhole and then the supposed evolution of man and all the missing links, one to a fret all the way to a profile of Bill Maher at the first fret.
-A 3-cigar humidor build into the butt area. (This has actually been done)
-A double Manzer wedge
-A 3/4" bone saddle for intonation ease
-A cantilevered neck
There's much more, but I can't give away ALL my secrets! :-)

I really like this idea, I plan to take it a little further, and install a duo function low E string tuning machine that doubles as a cigar lighter.
