Fret board cleanup
What is your method for getting right up against the frets when doing sanding on the fretboard? I can get pretty close, but when I buff it out, everything sparkles and is pretty except for the little strips alongside the frets that do not show a uniform surface with the rest of the board.

I actually use an X brace cut off. I cut it on an angle so when the sand paper is wrapped on it, it is pointy enough to get into that corner between the fret and fret board.
I also use a dremel with a polishing wheel to polish the board and frets and also spit polish all over the place.
I use Flitz on the frets. Google it. Awesome, non-abrasive metal polish that works on a variety of surfaces including plastic. Best fret polish I have tried.

Single edged razor blade used as a scraper -- place against the fret and pull toward the center of the fret space -- the surface left along the fret wire requires no sanding as it is smooth as glass -- then sand/polish the spaces progressing to 600 grit followed with Minwax finishing wax "looks pretty darn good" -- This is Teeter's method.
