Dreadnought German Spruce/Monkey Pod

It is been almost two years since I posted a finished guitar here. 10 guitars further I made recently this dreadnought. All according to original Martin specs.
It has a German Spruce top with fine numbers on the spruce plate (SRC 14), a Monkey Pod b/s and Honduran Mahogany neck. Wengé fingerboard and bridge. Never build with the Monkey Pod before, but I really like it. It works super easy, it is not heavy, looks great and it is tonewise like mahogany, plus a bit more ring to it. Over here it is not cheap (set 110 euro, incl shipping) but when I come across it again, I definitely will consider a purchase.

Looks and sounds great, What tuners are those. I used Gotoh Midsize 510 for the first time on my latest. I had been using grover or waverly but I am sold on this style of tuner I love how they mount and feel while tuning.

Gotoh 381. For a regular guitar the way to go.
510's are even better, but up to a 100 bucks here.
I tried Grovers, Kluson's, Schallers and cheaper stuff, but all the time I get back to Gotoh's. Never disappointing and the best value for the money.

She sounds awesome. Did you make it for someone in particular? The moneypod looks fabulous. How did you do the pore filling on it?

It was not for a commision, and it is now on sale for 1k. For filler I tried Rustin's Mahogany filler. Works and sands very easy, but here I needed 3 passes. I used it unstained, 'cause I had some coloring of the wood in the past, with the by me stained filler. The result here is beautiful though.
