This Jumbo is meant to be a simple straight foreward guitar. No gimmicks.
Spruce/Padouk/Ebony and Honduran Mahogany.
It took some work because the laquer kept showing the pores. In fact I finished this one 3 times. After covering with shellac it went as expected.
Furthermore I found the low E too dominant. Covering the back made it much better. To stiffen the back I glued extra braces in. And that did the trick!
Here you can hear and see the guitar

Nice work, H! Do you suggest using heavier strings because of the big body?

No, this was about the back made too thin. (2.5 mm / 0.1") Too floppy as this turned out here. The extra braces healed the back.
Normally I thickness backs to about 2.5 mm. Never a problem with that. But here I went to thin obviously.
I guess I have to check the backs on floppiness above thickness, as I do with tops.

BTW: I use always 0.012" strings on my guitars.

Another great looking and sounding guitar. I use 'Addario EXP16 Light 12-53. SO 12's are my goto as well.

Very nice Herman. The Paduk is flashy. The sound is sweet.

Hi Kevin
Beautiful guitar you have made. How do you keep the brilliant color of the Paduk? I’m building a 00 paduk/ terrified Sitka and the laquer seal coat darkens the paduk too much
