Hi Brent and thank you. Yeah, I knew I was going against convention but I also knew I didn’t want a typical sounding guitar. The maple was totally a let’s see what happens kinda deal. I’m sure happy with the result. Both with the artistry and the sound. I think I’ll just keep on breaking the rules! 😂😂

Jerry, this is pretty splendid! And out of native materials; you're a man after my own heart. There are gazillions of conventional guitars. Innovation is driven by, among other things, experimentation. When I student-taught, back in the dark ages, my supervising teacher used to say "Art is about intellectual unlawfulness". Lots of people can make finely lacquered cabinets but guitars are sound machines; thanks for including the video with sound, strums great - and the top is luscious!
