Maple over Walnut

My first build. Tiger Maple top, Walnut sides and bottom. Maple/Walnut laminated neck and headstock. Walnut pick guard.

Hi palemoonranch, That is a great guitar with beautiful "woody" woods. It is wood and may look like that. Well done. And thanks for the vid. We all like sounds and vids.

Hi, Welcome to the forum. Gorgeous guitar and it sounds great in the video. You must have a good deal of woodworking skill to produce that guitar as a first build. Really nicely done.

Thank you John. I've had the opportunity to work with a master woodworker over the past year and a half and may have picked up some skills here and there. Glad you like my work.

Welcome to the forum.
Many don't believe a Maple top can sound good, but I beg to differ. A luthier from Montreal, Canada used maple tops back in the 1970's.
He was very successful.
