Thanks! Ukuleles are really popular with are twenty somethings now. The real issue is $500 gets you a really good production ukulele in a guitar store, $700 even better. It takes me as long to make a ukulele as it does to make a guitar. I will only make one for friends and family. For other than family I charge $700 but I am not making much on my time. Less than $10 an hour.

I recorded it with my samsung galaxy phone. I have been surprised at how good the mic sounds. I brace the ukuleles with my classical guitar sensibilities, a bit lighter than a lot of builders. For example only 2 fan braces. I have gotten comments that they are not plunky enough for a ukulele. However with more players moving to low g instruments I think the ukulele sound consensus is changing.
