Source for Cross Dowel Nuts?

Not finding a local source for the cross dowel nuts I need, I searched the internet. Surprisingly, I haven't found a good source (it is possible I don't know what I'm looking for). The holes in my neck tendon are exactly 1/2" in diameter. Where have you guys acquired the hardware in question?

I buy mine at Lowels. I had trouble on the internet.

Ah. There is one of those in my area. I'll check it out. Hopefully they will have brass, but anything with a .5 inch diameter will do. Thanks.
