I have a friend who owns a Norwood guitar from pre-1978. He paid around $500 for it in 1978, and wants to know if it is worth more than that now. I don't know the condition yet.
Any thoughts?

Re: Opinion of Norwood guitars?
Well, a little interesting information.
This fella's brother worked in Norwood's shop some 50 years ago. In talking about this guitar, he mentioned the wonderful smell of BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD in the shop, and the Adirondack Spruce which paired with it.
Yes, a possible Holy Grail guitar.
Based on a D-35, so I don't know if the git has 1/4" or 5/16" braces, or if they are even scalloped.
If it was a 12-fretter, he would have a very expensive guitar. Even without that, his original investment - in 1978 - of $500 would be quadrupled if he were to sell.
Envy? Yes. GAS? Oh yes. Any chance? None at all
