While I won't hold my breath, I'm going to be very happy to see pictures.

Re: My ugly neck
Lot of work yet to do, but I got the fingerboard on (I made it out of Cuban mahogany with wenge binding) and rubbed on a little TO. I like it, it's going to look fine when I'm done - it has a real 'old' wood look to it which is attractive.
Still have to dress the frets - sand a couple of spots where glue showed up and re-TO - buff it all up.

Re: My ugly neck
It looks gorgeous, especially with the fretboard and binding.

Re: My ugly neck
With any luck at all some of my “beat up” necks will turn out that nice!
Re: My ugly neck
Wide Wenge bindings are striking. I don't think I've seen bindings that wide. Very original.

Re: My ugly neck
How do you treat the fret ends to keep them down with that wide of binding, Dave? I assume you clipped the tang off. I've had difficulty with that.
