I made this sled for my first flamenco. It worked in concept but it was hard to get the two slots lined up. I should be able to see a reference line and line up the neck but I am always a touch off. So I add tacking a small bit a wood to reference against the fence to make it easy to flip sides and line up the cut perfectly.
Here is the sled. The sled is perfectly cut for the 3° angle I like. Easy to make as I made the sled and the fence oversized and cut it to size with the blade set up. So basically I just need to line up my cut mark on the fence.
Having failed at that on my last guitar on this one I use a square and attached a small bit of binding in the center of the neck to act as an index.
So now it is very easy to cut one side flip and then the other.
This method worked out well. On my next guitar I think it will be even easier to drill a shallow 1/16" hole in the center of the neck and use the a 1/16" pin to act as an index for the cut depth.
