Small gap under fingerboard extension

Post by NeilG495 » Sat Feb 02, 2019 5:02 pm

Just fitting a bolt on neck on my latest build and noticed I small gap under one side of the fingerboard, right in the top corner where it heel is. Wondering if I should try to close it with clamping pressure when gluing, sand the soundboard flatter, or insert a tiny shim under it. This is my 6th build but the first I’ve radiused the top, all the others were built flat in the upper bout, only radiused from the X down.
