Keep in mind if you do any cutaways you may need a couple extra inches but I am not totally sure about that.

My concern with the 30" blanket would be with bending cutaways or even larger body guitars. When I am buying our making jigs and tools I try to plan for a range of possible uses when it comes to future builds.
