The same can be said of HHG. They both dry to a crystalline like condition. I find the main difference between the 2 to be the fact that one can be used at room temp while the other can't. Otherwise from a repair standpoint they are nearly identical.

Hey guys,
I got an answer from Michael Onofrio, repair department, Bourgeois guitars:

"Torrified wood doesn't like to take some glues well...Titebond is probably the best choice followed by Fish glue then hot hide glue being the worst for adhesion on treated wood."

Ya, now it gets confusing. In Holland we say: "The one who knows best, may speak!"

Yeah that's the opposite of what they told me two years ago - it was all 'fish glue and other strategies'.
I'm going to use TB on this bridge, let it cure for about a year, then see what happens. Or maybe cure more like a full day. ;-)

My final word: I will NEVER, EVER use TB original on torrefied wood again. Fish glue only for me.
