Mike Doolin's Bent-top arm bevel

This is very interesting. What is your assessment of the pros/cons of this method?

I take everything Mike does seriously. He is one smart and talented guy. THat is my main pro.

He also gets the bevel in without effectively narrowing in the top.

Looks good as well.

The con is it might be harder than it looks to look good. I do not get as good of results when I freehand on the belt sander as I see from Mike Doolin or Chris Everett.
