This one was made for my coworker who wanted a guitar for a long time, but could not affort it. Now he got a severe lung disease with a not so good prognosis. That is why a gave him this guitar, with the my wish that he will play it for a long time. Funny thing is that I made it, except the back/sides, from left-overs. The top I got for free. The costs were low, the work is still very rewarding.
Specs:
Top – German spruce X- braced
B/S- Sapele
Fingerboard and bridge - Ebony
Neck - Honduran Mahogany
Headplate - Black Walnut
Binding - Flamed Maple
Here’s some sound, don't mind my playing:
Picking EADGBE
Picking EADEAE
Strumming

I wish your friend a long life. He will need it to adequately explore the potential of this instrument. It is at one and the same time mellow and penetrating.
