Ditson finally finished and set up

Post by Woodyok » Sun Apr 01, 2012 1:50 pm

I always wanted a D-28 VS and the KMG Ditson kit fills the bill completely. This is my new go to guitar. The slot head was difficult but worth it.

Way to go Woody - I like the lines of the Ditson's a lot. Are those Kluson tuners?

Woody, nice looking guitar. I like the slotted headstock and the pyramid bridge. It gives the guitar a classic look.

Thanks guys. It's not perfect but for my third guitar I am very happy . I play nickle wound strings and I really like the sound.

Dave, the tuning machines are Goto vintage the Kluson tuners were way to much money. These look nice and work well.

John, I really like the vintage style look of this guitar and with the nickle strings sounds like it too.

Paul, The set up is ok.. but may need a bit of tweaking. The sound is nice .plenty of base but not boomy. you don't get a lot of overtones with the nickle strings and I like that.
Thanks again.
