Thanks John.
Are you referring to the templates in one of the pictures?

The templates are the OM and OO-14fret from Ken.

Well, it has been a while since I was able to work on this guitar. But I finally got back to it during the last holiday season.

Gluing the bridge plate and other braces.

Braces were glued, carved, and sanded.

The notches on the rim were cut. Now I am ready to attach the top.

Robber band method is so great. Not too much pressure, but enough to create very nice glue joint. I like it a lot. The Mega Mold makes it so much easier.

Next, I planned to trim off the excess material from the top. I went to get a new router and some nice bit, since I will need the router for cutting binding channel later. I thought I might as well learn to use a router. The bit I got is the flush trim, down cut spiral bit from whiteside.

After practicing a few time with my other ukulele builds, I used it on the guitar.

The result is very nice. I like it, although the process is nerve breaking. It was very loud. I was afraid that my neighbor would be very upset....

Moving on to the back. I glued in the center reinforcement strip. There is a worm hole in the strip. I place it at the location that will be trimmed off. So, there is no problem.

The slots were trimmed and braces were glued.

Carving the braces with the carving knife and chisel.

I wish I have a band saw...that will make things easier.

Very nice work - I missed this thread somehow, glad I stumbled on it.
I did not know that KMG sold all-mahogany kits!
