000 28 tone woods

Post by Nate Peirson » Fri Oct 07, 2016 12:02 pm

I am currently gearing up to build a 000 28 12 fret style and would like to use either Redwood or Adirondack for the top...maybe even torrefied. I am curious if Black Walnut would work for the back and sides. I know the combo is used on larger dreadnoughts but unsure of it's use for a 000 size for rich clear tone.
Thanks.

Any of those combos sound great to me.

Just about any combination you can imagine will sound OK if you don't over build it.
