I do not know -- but if I were one to buy the product I'd only do so if I the knew the exact parameters. I see where guys are happy if its tan colored -- Huh?

Look at the composition changes while removing water when only temperature is tracked.

Torrefaction is a thermal process to convert biomass into a coal-like material, which has better fuel characteristics than the original biomass. Torrefied biomass is more brittle, making grinding easier and less energy intensive.

This stuff is not new however there is more to it then jamming a bunch of softwood into an autoclave designed to make charcoal or process deck planks. There are articles and post on line that indicate small loads of spruce or what ever are being processed along with the decking boards -- who is selling it as scientifically processed tone-wood? I do not know, but certainly would stay clear if I did -- again that is my point. There needs to be a standard or "what do you know" bridges will peel off because the glue does not work ---- which is not a problem at Martin, Taylor or Yamaha.

Do you know for sure that the adhesive they use is Titebond?
