Ok.
LMII has fret pullers for under $10. Is there an equivalent at local hardware or big box store, or is it a specialty item?
Have you seen this fret problem before?

There are several on ebay that have ground faces for between $7 and $10. I believe I got mine from Universal Gems several years ago.
I've "Ben-Had" again!

Would some product like this - or hopefully a diy version that you can share with me - be necessary for this one-time (probably) job?

I duno know?? looks like a great way to screw up a guitar -- how many hands do you need to use it?
This is a better solution --- seems make-able you won't need a special fret caul since on a classical the fret are usually not contoured.
