Really sweet Herman. Out of curiosity, why shellac on the top and not nitro like B/S?

Well Tim, that is what the customer insited on, He thinks a top with shellac sounds better and the nitro protects better. I found the shellac easy to apply, but gee what a lot of whiping before you get a decent thickness. And, more an issue to me, one nail and you have a dent. Far less foregiving than nitro.

About the Zpoxy: I do 2 coats in two days. It works so easy that even a Dave can do it. The first sanded back to the wood, the second just level.
