Great, been looking for updates! Big fire in our mounts to the east, Rough Fire is just about over now too.

We've been going slow, enjoying ourselves.
Fitting the neck for the first time today, it's pretty close, needs some flossing. Doing some sanding prep on the body. Like that.

Started and finished pore filling the back today. Padding on shellac/acetone mix - Brian Burns' suggestion - does a fine job quickly. Probably an hour's work as to padding on; we had previously put on a heavy coat - too heavy - of sealcoat and had a heckuva time getting it off. Padding is the way to go.
Sides tomorrow now that we have all the materials together. Then will apply the tru-oil.

That pore fill looks good. It was shellac with acetone added? Is the acetone to get it to try faster? How ever it works it sure looks good.

Couple body pix - will let the TO cure for a week or so before polishing.

Will string up Monday, that's the plan.
