The first guitar I bought new was just like the one in the picture, a Ventura Dred made in Japan. I think I paid $75 in 1969 for it.
Sold it and then bought a Hohner Contessa Dred in 1971 for about $125. I loved that guitar, wish I still had it. Hard to find pics of them.

I still have my first. I bought this Yamaha FG-230 12 string at a pawn shop in 1977. Played it a lot with six strings. Sometimes twelve. The neck cracked and I had that fixed long ago. Strung up now as a 12.
