I thought I'd post a few more pics of this one. I strung it up on Sunday morning and frankly was disappointed in the sound. Very weak. I played a bit and the left to see a ball game and didn't touch it until this morning. I can't believe how much better it sounded. More full and robust. I know they get better the more you play them, but this one seemed to change just being strung up and sitting.
Thanks to Ken (his template and building method/tools). It's a nice size and shape. Here's the particulars:
Guitar #7 Gibson style L-0
Padauk/Ambrosia Maple back and Padauk sides
Cedar top
Purpleheart, Padauk and Koa rosette and end wedge
B. Rosewood/Padauk bridge
Ebony fingerboard w/Padauk position markers
Walnut bolt on neck
Crotch walnut head plate
Padauk/Ambrosia Maple backstrap
Finished with zpoxy pore fill and Royal Lac

I really like the rosette and the end flash. And the back - I can't quite decide whether it's a 3-piece back with a narrow center or a 2-piece back with a super-wide center strip but I like it, nice use of the ambrosia maple.

Re: L-0 is finished
Thanks guys. I'm thinking its a three piece back because the maple is tapered. But you're right, it is a bit on the narrow side. I wanted to try gluing up that configuration.
