Hey John, yeah I plan on drilling some dog holes, I need to fix up a simple jig so I can drill them straight.

Re: Workbench is done.
Thanks guys. I just bought an old office credenza that I will be cutting in half and using one part under this bench for some drawers. It is the right height and depth which has been hard to find.
More work, but better than trying to make them.

I re-purposed some drawer cabinetry in the same way. The drawers are so handy to keep all manner of stuff in that you want to be close. They also add mass, which is what you need, and when fastened to the bench legs they'll increase the rigidity so that any racking during planing activity is virtually eliminated.

I bought an old oak Credenza. Picked it up on Saturday and got it cut into two pieces. Thick oak veneer over particle board, except the two ends are solid oak. The thing ways a ton.
Anyway, here is the before and after pictures. The 3 drawer section actually came apart with screws, then I just had to cut the top and back, and reattach the left side to the bigger section. The top cutoff screwed to the top of the 3 drawers and I was done.
This gives me just what I needed in the space I had. Not bad for $50.
