It's all setup and good to go!
Sitka/Rosewood L00
rosewood bridge and fretboard
white plastic binding
ebony headstock veneer
vintage style 3 on a plate tuners
tapered bracing
hand rubbed sunburst
This guitar is for my dad, he had a lot of input on the design (with a bit of steering from myself :) ). Still might put a pickguard on, and the saddle needs some minor compensating. He hasn't heard it yet but I think he will be pleased. Chords sound rich and there is a lot of sustain. Scale length + lighter bracing is my explanation for why this plays more "open" than my 1st (000). I really like it. Thankyou Ken once again for the great wood and great kits.
And some other good news - I have convinced my girlfriend to let me expand my "workshop". I used to have half the desk in this picture; I now have the whole thing and some shelves to boot. It's gona make a big difference for future guitars.

Looks very sweet. I like it. It's like you created a vintage guitar!

Great looks Oli. Seems like a guitar that has spend some time in a smoky café. Congrats.

It's been awhile since I checked out the gallery. However, I really dig this guitar. Nicely done!
