Bending 1/4" all-thread

Before I go out and buy a 3' length - can this stuff - 1/4" all-thread - be bent at a right angle, using a vise?

50/50 it will snap off in a tight bend -- I think if you got it hot enough to start the bend with very little force you'd be OK.
