Bracing question in regards to scale length
Re: Bracing question in regards to scale length
That's a very large guitar especially if its the "J" deep body version.

Re: Bracing question in regards to scale length
It is the 000-12 fret on steroids. It is the M body elongated for the 12 fret attachment. But yes a J would be huge. I would love see see how one sounded to be honest.
I have attached a sound clip of Wilcutt version of this Gruhn guitar. It is EIR/ADI full scale. I know Gruhn uses the GE bracing. I am not sure of the Wilcutt. This has 5/16 scalloped braces
The other is the Woodsong, basically "Blaking a 0000" with 24.9 scale. The salesman was nice enough to make two iPhone recordings for me. Its enough to tell the differences. I am sure Honduran Mahogany would sound a little different. 1/4 in scalloped braces with Sitka top.
I not sure which I prefer. They both sound good.
