That pedestal looks suspiciously related to ones sold to hold up bench grinders. Dunno if a grinder's pedestal would be too tippy. HF sells a pedestal and a 'universal bench grinder stand', 4 legs, looks like a stool. Maybe the bigger footprint of a tool stand, proper, would do a secure job.
