Is there any particular procedure to posting pictures here? Advice welcomed. Thanks!

Yes Peter,
You have to have a place where a pic can be retreived. Your own site, facebook, picasa etc.
Copy the internet adress of this picture.
In your reply, click on the upper block "img".
Between [img]and[/img] you paste the adress of the pic you want to show.
Ready.
BTW, Ken likes us to post images with a size of about 640 pix wide. The best size for most browsers to handle.

You can also find a tool that will resize your photo to 640 x 480. Then you can use the file attachment below the post edit window to include a few photos in your posts.

I've used my iPhone to take all my pictures and then I use an app to resize them. Hit choose file, grab from your photo library and then hit the add file button. Redo for up to ten pictures. When ready submit. Easy.
