I am sold on it. It saved me a bunch of sanding time. This was my only use so far but it was as cocobolo fret board not ebony. I was lucky I had already slotted the fret board. I took a chance but I did not get any tear out around the slots.

I started the finish process. So I should be finished in a few weeks. I thought I would post one change I made to my zpoxy process a couple of instruments ago. When working with rosewood and white purfling lines I mix a small amount of zpoxy up, dilute it with alcohol and seal the bindings and purflings. The stuff drys to tack within an hour or so. At that time I zpoxy the rest of the instrument.

Thanks Kevin, close another Acacia, it is Australian Blackwood. to be honest if I do not keep my stash labeled I can not tell the difference between it an Koa.

From what I've seen those two are pretty similar, I've used and have more Curly Koa but not used the AB.
Even curly honduran hog can have a close look I think.
