Thanks Tony, I was hoping we would hear something about his surgery outcome.
Now we will hope for a good recovery.

Update:
Ray is recovering well. In a lot of pain but otherwise great! He wanted everyone to know he appreciates their prayers and concern.

Good Morning! I'm back! (Well, Sorta). I am alive and that was questionable 4 days ago.

My back surgery was a wonderful experience and success and a true marvel of today's Medicine.

I fully regained the feeling and use of my right leg and foot and my left toes...and after 50 years NO MORE PAIN!

Two days after release ad my return home I passed out with a 106 temp, a 100 mile ambulance ride instead of 20 mile in Medicares infinite wisdom back to my surgical hospital where they found that some how I had contracted a mutant staff infection that went to my blood and urinary tract at the same time and my BP dropped to 55/38... they said I had less than 10 minutes when they got me back in ICU.

They couldn't find a antibiotic to control or kill it..finally at the Natl Labs they narrowed it down to the actual "Bug" where and 30 year old Anthrax antidote worked on the mutant and I'm here.

Tough fight, but by the Grace, I won! Slow and VERY weak this time..it will take time to come back but I will.

Thanks for your support and best wishes and prayers.

Ray
