The neck block sat quite proud of the rim.
I'm using the Mega Mold, and after making my mark on the side of the block with the sanding bar, trimming must commence
The instructions call for using a block plane to get close to the line and then using the sanding bar to finish.
I probably had at least an inch to remove, and it was a tough job for the block plane
So I am wondering what you guys do to get close or even if you trim it some before initial glue up.
This is my first build with one of Ken's great kits so have been trying to more or less understand and follow his instructions to the letter.

Re: Trimming if neck block
If you have a bandsaw, it's easy to trim the block even after it is glued on.

Re: Trimming if neck block
is the operative phrase --- so you are not trying to hog the blocks down with the abrasive bar.get close to the line
