From your experiences, what glues have you found to work best when attaching wood purfling strips to wood binding prior to bending the bindings?
I have used LMI white glue and Titebond Translucent in the past when attaching black fibre purfling to wood binding with pretty good success but on occasion I've had some de-lamination during the bending process at the tight bend of the waist. I'm hoping to eliminate this.
I will be attaching a .030" red and .022" black dyed wood purfling strips to curly maple. I figure I'll have to bend at around 250 to 280 degrees at a mininum.
What do you all suggest?
Thanks.
Kevin

Thanks Ken, I do believe that is the one I'll try this time. Thanks for the input.

Just original Titebond is my way to go. Did not have any trouble with it

It would be fine for bindings and purflings.
