Do you guys see any negative to using African (or Khaya) mahogany for back braces on a classical guitar?
I was going to us Honduran hog but forgot to order the stock. I have a nice straight grained piece of the african and thought I'd make the back reinforcement strip from the same, so they will match.
What do you all think?

I've never used it but see no reason it would not be OK.

I think that it will really look sharp through the sound hole.
