Re: I Seek Plans For This Guitar (in love help help)
I have ordered the plans from ultimate guitar. Kinda excited... I added in the template and mold plans, and ordered a set of 15 gobar rods for 22 bucks. The plans do seem well researched and detailed. I'll get them printed off somewhere in Medford, I s'pose.
Thanks for all the help! Ken C: If you have other plans (maybe of your own) I would still be interested. My brother and I get a lot of information from having alternatives to study. I will try to supply the information that you requested.

The 000-12 fret plans from Stew mac are exactly what your looking for. They also happen to be surprisingly accurate towards the originals.

Re: I Seek Plans For This Guitar (in love help help)
Well from the 000's introduction in the 1800's to 1934 a 000 was a 12 fret and then when John Deichman and Perry Betchel collaborated to turn the 12 fret 000 into the 14 fret OM in 1929, the two shapes coexisted. In 34 Martin renamed the OM the 000 and then the 000 became known as a 14 fret guitar. Then after only making the 000-12 fret shape in limited numbers as a custom guitar, Martin started to produce 000-12s in normal production again sometime in the 60's or 70's. It's quite simple as you can see :DColestin wrote: Martin calls it a OOO, but as you know, that could mean most anything 'cept a dread. It's an old style, before the flattened upper bout (which I think of as the OM shape), and it looks and sounds incredible.

I am inclined to agree with Brian -- can't be sure without the dimensions. KMG kits, templates and molds are digitized off that SM drawing and I've compared it to actual Martin guitars at Elderly its a great match.

I've compared those to the ultimateguitarbuilder plans and they are almost identical.
