BTW I have never thought that sanding CA off the surface was/is easy -- even a small area like a patch, actually kind of PITA its a very hard material when dry. I use a scarper.

I sort of FP on a little at a time with a folded paper towel. It still takes a few applications, but almost no sanding. If I have ridges I take them off with a straight edge razor blade (I sand the tips to avoid scratching).

I am sure that guy in the first video had a nightmare sanding all of that CA off even with a random orbital sander.

John - do you sand to bare wood after each application of CA, or after a couple/three coats?

On the ukuleles I scraped after each application, I have pictures in Finishing viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2058 On the second ukulele I switch from a gloved finger to a folded paper towel. Just a few drops at a time applied to the paper towel. I need to scrape a lot less after I worked out the paper towel method. The CA I am using is pretty thick, so it has a decent working time.
